4 days to go and do you need to learn the Punjabi alphabet first?

4 days to go.

Doors close on my
6 month Punjabi Speaking Programme on 2nd February.

I’ve had quite a few calls this week, and there’s one question that keeps coming up:

“But don’t I need to learn the Punjabi alphabet — Oora Aera — first?”

So let me ask you this.

Did you learn to
speak English first…
or did you learn your
ABC first?

You learnt to speak first.

You learnt through:
• Listening
• Modelling
• Repeating
• Pretend play
• Hearing language used around you

And then reading and writing came later.

That’s exactly how we learn inside my
Punjabi Speaking Programme.

This programme is about
speaking first — not getting stuck in rules, scripts, or alphabets before you ever open your mouth.

Here’s what it looks like:

• 6 months
• Live taught by me
• Small group sessions
• Lots of
practice through role plays
• Quizzes, flashcards, and more

And here’s what we cover:
• Male and female words
• Different verb types
• Sentence structure
• Everyday, real-life conversations

You don’t need to know Oora Aera to start.
You don’t need to read or write Punjabi to begin.

You just need the willingness to try — in a safe, supportive space.

If you’ve been waiting for the “right time”…
This might be it.
