Is 4 too young for Punjabi lessons?

“My child is only 4. Is it too early for Punjabi lessons?”

I get asked this quite a lot.

The idea of a 4 year old sitting in front of a screen for an hour, repeating Punjabi words after the tutor, just doesn’t work. My 3 and 5 year olds wouldn’t want to do that either!

That’s why our lessons are built around hands on learning. Think cut and stick activities, dot to dot, Punjabi stories and little role plays.

It’s how I taught my own boys Punjabi, and how I’ve taught young students over the last five years.

I’m always looking at what works in our lessons and finding new activities for the children. If something isn’t helping them learn, we change it.

So yes, your 4 year old can start lessons. They just need lessons that feel right for a 4 year old.

Our 1:1 tuition for 3 to 5 year olds is £40 an hour. You can see more about it here:
