These are the moments that make it all worth it.

Over the last 10 years, I’ve had the absolute blessing of teaching hundreds of students Punjabi.

And honestly — the impact has been beyond anything I could have imagined.

❤️ An adult finally holding a full conversation with their grandparents
❤️ A child joyfully reading their very first Punjabi short story
❤️ A non-Punjabi speaker speaking to her Punjabi mother-in-law for the first time
❤️ An adult reading Jap Ji Sahib for the very first time

These moments are exactly why I started Nirmolak Heera.

They remind me that learning Punjabi isn’t just about language —
it’s about connection, confidence, and belonging.

So many of my adult students tell me a similar story.

They were fluent as children…
Then school came along.
The household switched to English.

And slowly, Punjabi disappeared.

As adults, they struggle to string a sentence together.
They feel embarrassed when someone speaks to them in Punjabi.
They stay quiet — even when they want to join in.

That was me too.

I re-learnt Punjabi as an adult.
I fell back in love with the language.
And now, I teach it — in a way that actually works for adult learners.

One thing I care deeply about is this:
Everyone learns differently.

That’s why my 6 month Punjabi Speaking Programme is designed to support all types of learners.

If you’re a
visual learner
→ I create flashcards and workbooks for you

If you’re a
kinesthetic learner
→ We use role plays, online games, and interactive activities

If you’re an
audio learner
→ All sessions are recorded, so you can listen again and again

This programme is packed with resources so you can
practice in the way that suits you best.

If you’ve been thinking about learning Punjabi...
If something inside you keeps nudging you…
