Shukarwar/Friday Gap Shap with Harsimrat

Last week I shared that I have been living in Punjab for 5 months.

It's something I've kept close to my heart - because I expected the response I got

"What?!" "But why?"

"It's a third world country, why go backwards"

"It's full of pollution"

"Do you regret it?"

Moving back to Punjab, isn't something to be looked down on.

Punjab is and will always be our home.

There are pros and cons of living anywhere - the UK isn't better than Punjab, and visa versa. Punjab isn't better than the UK.

Over the next few weeks I'll be sharing my journey and the following topics:

- how we live when the electricity goes off
- not having constant hot water
- facing winter with no heating
- how we live without toilet roll
- for the girls: periods and Punjab
- Indian toilets vs English toilets
- Indian showers vs English showers
- the rise of delivery services

and more!

Do you have a question for me?

Drop it over to me and I'll do my best to answer
